Try Before You Buy, Here's How...

Since starting Council Wardrobe Studio in 2014, we have offered clients the ability to take things home "on approval".

Council is founded on closet edits and wardrobe styling, so we never want someone to be stuck with something they don't like or can't wear. Since then, we have added the Style Box, to the mix for clients who don't live in Columbus, Georgia or can't make it in to shop. Wondering what all this approval, style box talk is? You definitely need to try one! Let me explain...

 What is an Approval? Try it (at home) before you buy it!

An approval is when a client takes items home to try before they buy. The client has a chance to try the items at home with other pieces in their wardrobe, and “sleep on it” before making a decision. We only charge for the items the client keeps. 

This gives you a chance to pair the piece(s) with what you already have, and different undergarments if necessary, to make sure you're adding a useful, exciting piece to your dream wardrobe.

What is a Style Box? Personal styling, delivered to you! 

We can describe a piece, measure it, try it on and send pictures all day, but there’s just something about touching the fabrics and trying on at home with your current wardrobe that helps make a confident decision. So we created a Style Box, which consists of pieces styled specifically for you! These boxes are a lot of fun for us to pack and for you to get! It helps us to get to know you better, and you get a better feel for what Council Wardrobe Studio is all about! You start with completing the Style Box Questionnaire

We can pack specific pieces you’re requesting such as new jeans and tees, specific options for a trip or event, or if you just want a fun surprise to open. Some of our clients ask friends to come over when the style box arrives for a fun girls-night-in-try-on-session!

These boxes are great for anyone, but especially helpful if you’ve changed sizes recently, had a baby and need a little pep in your step, gotten a new job and need a little bit different wardrobe, or just haven’t shopped in a while. We love helping fine tune your style, while making sure you feel comfortable in what you’re wearing!

If you want to have some one-on-one time with a stylist, you can book a complimentary 1 hour Mini Styling Session, we offer them in-person at our store located in Columbus, Georgia and virtually via FaceTime or Zoom.
